Dark, velvety and dangerously drinkable.
A single-vineyard Malbec grown on McMurtrie Road by the Oakley family in McLaren Vale, picked at optimal ripeness.
Gently hand-plunged and slowly extracted over three weeks on skins before being basket pressed. It then spent 12 months in seasoned French oak, softening the tannins and adding texture while letting the Malbec take centre stage.
Aromatic, plush and medium-bodied, with silky tannins. A generous Malbec, made for the table.
Best enjoyed with something off the grill.
