Old vines. Sandy soils. Serious Grenache.

Sourced from two dry-grown Blewitt Springs vineyards, including the Brini Vineyard and a second site on Kays Road, with an average vine age of 70 years. Planted on ancient Maslin sands over clay, these old vines deliver vibrant fruit, perfume and natural finesse.

25% whole bunch and a parcel of carbonic maceration bring aromatic lift and tannin tension, before gentle basket pressing and ten months in seasoned French oak. The result is an elegant, finely structured Grenache with a long, perfumed finish.

  • Halliday Wine Companion, 93+ pointsFrom two old-vine sites in Blewitt Springs. There’s initially a deep-set quality here. Not heft, but a certain compression. Black and red cherries, ground warm spices, goji berry and red licorice. It’s a lightly textural wine, supple, yet with a fine web of proper fine grenache tannin a caul around the glossy fruit, with a little air unlocking things nicely. There’s a light touch to this, and a refinement to expression, with a little more time in bottle bringing more rewards. Excellent value.Marcus Ellis, August 2026
