Handpicked fruit from our vineyard nestled above the Clarendon township, at one of the highest sites in the McLaren Vale wine region. We have been farming this site without any herbicide, insecticide or systemic chemicals and use Indian Runner Ducks to forage undervine, and sheep and alpacas grazing over winter. Gentle handling and winemaking has been utilized every step of the way.
A magic carpet of three different Pinot Noir clones, 777, MV6 and Pommard. Hand-picked parcels from Kuitpo, with another later pick from Forreston. 30% whole bunches in the ferments, before basket pressing and maturation for 6 months in seasoned French oak. A bright, floral and layered style.
Flavours of green apple and peach, with a lovely lime zest acidity structure. An exotic alternative for lovers of Riesling or Sauvignon Blanc.
Grenache is the star of this wine and is picked in multiple parcels across McLaren Vale and Langhorne Creek, as well as a small parcel of Cinsault Made in a blush and bright Rosé style, fermented slowly before 6 months of maturation on fluffy lees in seasoned French oak.
