The Virgara family have worked hard in this beautiful vineyard for many years and planted Pinot Meunier in 1993. Located at Uraidla, in the Piccadilly sub-region of the Adelaide Hills, which sits right behind Mount Lofty. This pocket often experiences a dense band of cloud or fog, while the rest of the hills basks in full sun. Ripening occurs a little later and Pinot lives a good life here. Grown at 480 metres ASL on yellow clay running over a bedrock of skeletal quartzites, gives the Pinot Meunier depth and weight, brimming with red fruits.
